From Start to Finish…

Planning

The initial stages involve a thorough evaluation, addressing factors such as determining the dimensions and configuration of your pool, identifying its optimal placement within your property, and selecting the most suitable enhancements to seamlessly complement your pool and spa.

Excavation

Upon receipt of the architectural plans and necessary city approvals, our next step involves commencing excavation in accordance with the provided specifications. This phase entails the removal of an average of 3-5 truckloads of soil from your backyard.

Foundation

After shaping the pool to the prescribed size and dimensions, the subsequent phase involves the precise installation of steel rebar encompassing the surface area, providing essential structural support for the gunite. Additionally, wood is added along the perimeter outlines to serve as a stable foundation.

Plumbing & Electrical

The installation of piping components and electrical connections for pool equipment. This ensures proper circulation and filtration of your pool. Additions such as waterfalls, jets, fountains, etc. all require their own electrical and plumbing installations.

Gunite

The next step involves the application of gunite across the entire surface area, serving as the foundational substrate for the subsequent layering of plaster or pebble finishes.

Startup

The concluding and most exciting phase of this journey is to grace your brand-new swimming pool with a pristine fill of water.  At this juncture, you will also determine whether you prefer a saltwater or chlorine-based swimming pool. Following the meticulous calibration of the water chemistry, comprehensive instruction on basic operations, and our heartfelt gratitude for choosing Sparkling Touch Pools, we sincerely hope you relish your dream backyard to its utmost potential.
